Lien Tran

Welcome to Second Grade! 

2023-2024 

My name is Lien Tran.  I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in a family of ten siblings.  I have six brothers and four sisters.  Most of my families and my mom are still living in Baton Rouge. Therefore, I travel to visit them as often as I can.  I’m blessed to grow up in such a big and loving family. My extended family is now with the St. Rita school community.      

My daughter, Evelyn graduated from St. Rita last year and will be starting Freshman year at Bishop Lynch.   

I graduated from LSU and have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught for 23 years in the Catholic school district. I've taught Kindergarten for seven years at another Catholic school. I have taught 2nd grade at St. Rita School for 14 years.

In the last two years, I've worked with the 1st and 2nd grade team as a support teacher.  This year, I am excited to be back in the classroom with the second graders.  I'm looking forward to this wonderful opportunity.
