St. Rita Catholic School Celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2006

Monday – 30 January – Charity Day! And 5th – 8th Parent Visitation

Students are encouraged to bring a donation of at least $1 for our sister school, Mary of Carmel , and will receive a Catholic Schools Week wrist band for their donation! The band may be worn all week.

8 a.m. until lunch - Parents of 5th through 8th grade students are invited to attend classes with their children and/or have lunch with them. Outside lunches may be brought in for this day. We are coordinating with Chic-Fil-A. A portion of the lunch proceeds will be donated to the school.  Please generate your students schedule from Renweb so that you know where they are when you arrive.

5th and 6th lunch is at 11:35 until 12:08   

7th and 8th grade lunch is at 12:26 until 1

3rd and 4th grades will eat sack lunches in their homerooms.

Kinder and 1st are normal lunches.

You are welcome for all or part of the morning.

Tuesday – 31 January – Kinder – 4th Parent Visitation and Doughnuts with Dad!

7:15 until 8:00 a.m. -  Dads (or Moms) are invited to Sweeney Hall for coffee and Doughnuts.

8 until lunch - Parents of Kinder through 4th grade students are invited to attend classes with their children and/or have lunch with them. Outside lunches may be brought in for this day. Kinder lunch is at 10:40 until 11:10

1st lunch is at 10:55 until 11:20

2nd lunch is at 11:10 until 11:35

     3rd lunch is at 11:25 until 11:50

     4th lunch is at 12:00 until 12:20

Middle school will eat sack lunches in their homerooms for this day.

 

Wednesday – 1 February –Buddy Bingo!

Students will play bingo in the morning and have snacks to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.

 

Thursday – 2 February –

            Canned Food Drive , Motivational Speaker for the Middle School and Muffins with Mom !

7:15 until 8:00 a.m. - Moms (Or Dads) are invited to Sweeney Hall for coffee and muffins.

 Canned food can be brought; we will be donating to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank here
at St. Rita.

2:00 p.m   Mike Brock will speak to the middle school students on our theme of Character,

Compassion and Values.

Friday – 3 February – Teacher Student Volleyball Game and All School Mass

8:00 a.m. Mass - Feast of St. Blaise throat blessing will be during mass.

2:15 p.m. - Volleyball game between teachers and students.  All are welcome.
