We will learn about patterns in Math and static electricity in Science.

We will discuss litter today and how it affects our environment. Please bring in (clean) used candy wrappers for a litter collage!

We will continue to learn about patterns in Math and conduct the “famous” diet coke and mentos experiment in Science.

Rowen Maguire's half-birthday on the 4th (his real b-day is July 4th)

Marco Orendain's half-birthday on the 11 th (his real b-day is July 11 th ) and Austin and Justin Bell's birthday on the 25th!

This month in religion we will learn the stories of Daniel and the Lion's Den, and Zacchaeus. Thanks so much to all who so generously donated our adopted families. I received e-mails from both families telling of how wonderful their Christmas was this year! Your generosity was greatly appreciated! Just a friendly reminder that there will be no school on Wed., February 7 th to show our support for school vouchers.

    Thursday, January 11 th from 9:00-10:30 am is an Open House for any families interested in enrolling your child at St. Rita Catholic School in the future. The Open House will begin in Sweeney Hall and end with a tour of the school. Also, if you are interested in enrolling your child in the St. Rita School Kindergarten next year (the 2007-08 school year), registration will be held for last names A-L on Wed., Jan 31 st , and last names M-Z on Thurs., Feb. 1 st . Baptism and Birth Certificates are required for this registration.
