The school office is closed for the month of July but the mailbox, voice mail and emails will be checked periodically so contact us via one of those means, if you need to reach us!  The office will re-open Monday, August 3.  Happy Summer!  Stay safe and healthy!

DSI_Dog Crimes 2nd Grade_The Suspects

2nd Grade Dog Detective Teams!  Use the presentation to review the crime and all of the suspects.  Then use your assigned Domestic Dogs resource book to investigate your assigned Suspect.  Fill out the Investigator's Worksheet completely and be ready to report your finders to the D.C.I. Department Chief (Mrs. McGoldrick!) and staff (your classmates!)

Dog Detectives Theme Song

2nd Graders from Mrs. Tran's class, inspired by our Dog Mystery, composed and performed their original "Dog Detectives" Theme song. In the next two weeks, 2nd graders will use information from the Domestic Dogs series, to solve the Mystery of the Dog Who Ate the Homework.

After researching the relationship between access to clean water and the level of health, education, hunger & poverty in communities, 4th graders experimented with cleaning "dirty" water using filters of sand, activated charcoal and gravel.
