How does the Virtual Library operate?
How do I order a book?
Grades 1 through 8 have the opportunity to order books that will be delivered to their classroom by the librarians on their designated "Library Day" (aka the day the books will be ordered and delivered!). Both our Spartans on Campus and Spartans@Home can place orders per the steps below. (Our PreK and Kindergartners will participate in a Books2Go program handled by their teacher and the librarians.)
Step 1: Visit our Destiny Quest catalog to choose your book!
Step 2: Place the order for your book through Book Hub. Depending on your grade level, you will either utilize a Google form (4th-8th) via your Chromebook or the printed Book Hub order form available in your classroom.
What day is my "Library Day?"
Do I have access to FREE eBooks?
Yes! As a St. Rita student or parent, you can use our new MackinVia account to download eBooks. Students will find a link to MackinVia through Classlink on their Chromebook. Or, anyone can access MackinVia HERE and use St. Rita Catholic School's name along with the username and password of "strita" to login to the account and download eBooks.
What is a Pop-Up Library?
What is the Books2Go program for PreK and Kindergarten?
PreK and Kindergarten will not order or check out books from the Library. Instead, Books2Go crates will be delivered weekly to each PreK and Kinder classroom and will be for student, faculty or staff use at the teacher's discretion.
