Megan Lechler has spent the last twelve years providing school psychological services in public and private schools. She has previously worked in Highland Park ISD, Frisco ISD, and Plano ISD as well as schools in San Antonio. Most recently, Megan has had her own practice serving students throughout the Metroplex by conducting psychoeducational evaluations, individual therapy, and behavioral consultation. She completed undergraduate studies at Rhodes College, holds a Specialist in School Psychology graduate degree from Texas Woman’s University, and is a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in Texas. She and her husband, Luke, have been attending St. Rita Church since 2007. They have five children aged three to thirteen, three of whom are St. Rita Spartans!
As the Dean of Student Formation, Megan will work toward continued implementation of Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline (VBRD) practices. She will begin to oversee Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for all students. Additionally, Megan will assist the school community with faith formation activities and work alongside guidance counselors to build the social-emotional learning program at St. Rita School.
