Biography

I am beyond excited to be part of the St. Rita staff as School Communications Assistant. I was born in Houston but moved to the Dallas area when I was 8 years old. I went to Cedar Hill High School, and then graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington as an Alpha Chi Omega alumni with a BA in Communication Technology, in Spring of 2002.  Shortly after graduation, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to work for Solomon Smith Barney in the Atlanta Financial district. Though I enjoyed my time in Georgia, Dallas was calling me home where I would later meet my husband, Carter Hopkins. We were married in our favorite spot in the Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg, in October of 2013. We have kiddos Ethan (2014) and Eleen (2015), who both currently attend St. Rita Catholic School. We have been St. Rita parishioners for 8 years, Ethan our eldest, took his very first steps in the St. Rita Dining Hall.  I feel so blessed to now be an even bigger part of this community through my role on the communications team.
