Mrs. Susan Lynch, Director of Communications for the Parish and School

I am the Director of Communications for the School and the Parish and took on this new position in July of 2018. The Communications team has an exciting role, as we not only have the opportunity to share news about events and programs at St. Rita, but we also work to advance the missions of both entities. I love being a part of the talented team at the school and at the parish!

I started my career as an analyst in the real estate department of Continental Bank in Chicago. Upon moving to Dallas, I moved into the non-profit world and worked for the Salesmanship Club of Dallas for 8 years in fundraising as the Sales and Sponsorship Manager for the Byron Nelson Golf Classic.

I officially joined the St. Rita school staff in March of 2010 in a part time role as Development Director under Dr. Elena Hines, but my history with St. Rita goes back to 1996 when my husband, Dennis, and I joined the parish. I am a native of Atlanta, GA where I attended St. Jude Catholic School and then Marist High School. I received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1991. Dennis was born and raised in Dallas and attended St. Rita and then Jesuit. We met at Notre Dame and married in 1995. I have three children who graduated from St. Rita.  My oldest son, Connor, graduated from Texas Tech's Rawls School of Business in December of 2016, and received his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021. He currently lives in Chicago and works remotely for a Dallas-based company in the financial technology industry.  My son, Jack, is a pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system and is working on his final coursework for a degree in Management from Xavier University in Cincinnati. My daughter, Maggie, graduated from Ursuline Academy in May 2022 and is a Sophomore at Auburn University.

When I am not working, I enjoy exercising, watching sports, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends!
