Welcome!

Mrs. Stacy McManus

Hello and welcome to fourth grade!

I am a native Texan and graduate of Texas Woman’s University. I felt a “calling” to teach early in life. I absolutely love seeing a child learn something new for the first time and am excited about our learning adventures this year.  Family is VERY important to me! I am blessed to have a wonderful husband named Jon, a son named Tyler who attends Ohio State University, and a very goofy golden retriever named Auggie.

Questions/Concerns:

  • Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to help!

  • Send all school-related e-mails to me at smcmanus@strita.net. This is the best way to reach me. I will do my best to respond quickly and concisely.

  • Thank you for remembering to send carpool or end-of-the-day notices before noon.

  • I am available most mornings at 7:30 A.M. for conferences that can’t wait until the school-scheduled times.

Absences:

If your child is sick or misses school, please expect to make up work after the student is well or has returned. Our busy schedule makes it difficult to gather all necessary materials during the school day. This also allows the student to hear specific instructions regarding the requirements of the assignment and any missed instruction.  Students are allowed a reasonable time period to make up the missed work-usually one day per absence. Please contact me regarding any extenuating circumstances and we will work out a reasonable plan.

Respectfully,
