Mrs. Mary Walters, 3rd/4th Grade Aide
This year I have switched from PE to the aide for 3rd and 4th grade. I am truly looking forward to working with your kids in an academic setting.
I received a biology and English degree at Trinity in San Antonio where I played 3 sports - basketball, softball and volleyball. I returned to Dallas and received a master's degree in P. E. from SMU. After teaching a year at Christ the King, I was hired at UTD as a recreational sports specialist. I retired in 2016 from a 35 year career at The University of Texas at Dallas. I was the Athletic Director for 10 years, starting the Division III athletic program, from 1993 -2003. I then switched my focus to heading the Student Union but realized I missed my athletics, so from 2003-2017 I worked part time at St. Rita as the Athletic Director as well (just before Kevin Barnicle). It's going to be a great year!
