Final / Competitive Speech & Drama Meet

St. Rita Catholic School (Dining Hall = Main Gather Area)

This is the final meet for the year. Unlike before, students will compete against other students presenting in their event category in hopes of advancing from the preliminary and semifinals round to the finals round where they will contend for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for that event. Points will also be accumulate for each advancing student to determine a first, second and third place school team overall.

For the final, competitive meet in February, students may compete in up to two different events provided that one selection is a Section A event and the other is a Section B event.

SECTION A: Poetry, Dramatic, Storytelling, Duet
SECTION B: Prose, Humorous, Oratory, TV Commercial, Two-Man Improv
