The SRS Library/Snyder Learning Center presents Patricia Saunders, November 5. Ms. Saunders is a local art teacher turned author/illustrator. Her new book about Saint Mother Teresa, Mother Teresa: The Little Pencil in God’s Hand, is a much-needed addition to the genre of hagiography for children and young people. Her book is well-researched, beautifully illustrated and an engaging read. Ms. Saunders will be speaking to our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes about her research process and demonstrate how she creates her illustrations. Signed copies of the book are available. Please see the attached order form. Orders must be received by October 17, a little over two weeks BEFORE the author’s visit to St Rita.
