Summer Reading 2026: Read Across the 50 States!

"I'm Bored!"
The PebbleGo National Parks Summer Reading Road Trip is a free, self-guided program designed to help students stay engaged, keep learning, and reduce the summer slide — all while celebrating America’s 250th birthday by immersing yourself in some of the country’s most incredible national parks.
Elementary school students at St. Rita use PebbleGo during school for research and are encouraged to use it during the summer to learn more about America during the 250th anniversary.
All St. Rita students have access to Hallow content, using their school email address.

Still bored? How about some music?
Pull out your recorder or ukelele and brush off your musical skills!
Mrs. Beirschenk recommends Visual Musical Minds.
What else can we grow in this summer? Cursive might be fun.
Print out some pages from this set of cursive practice to review or learn some new skills.
READING...it's a workout for your BRAIN!  The SRS Librarians encourage our students and their families to build their brains, bodies and spirits even while on summer break.
