Counseling Center
The Counseling Center at St. Rita Catholic School delivers a comprehensive school counseling program that inspires students to grow in mind, body, and spirit. Through individual counseling, small groups, and whole-class lessons, our counselors help equip students with the necessary skills and confidence to overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges. Our counselors also serve as advocates for all students, helping them reach their God-given potential.
Counselors work with parents and teachers to develop treatment plans for students who benefit from regular, ongoing counseling support. Counselors and administrators may recommend outside, professional support for students if needs arise beyond what is reasonable within the school environment.
Any student may request to see a counselor by asking their teacher or utilizing the counselor request form. Parents and teachers may refer a student for counseling by contacting the counselors via email or phone.
We have two full-time, licensed mental health professionals on staff: Mrs. Kelly Nolan, our Elementary School Counselor (PK-4), is a Licensed School Psychologist, and Mrs. Becca Edwards, our Middle School Counselor (5-8), is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor.
