Our Sister School - St. Mary of Carmel

St. Mary of Carmel is located in southwest Dallas and is building the Kingdom of Heaven by forming saints and scholars. St. Mary of Carmel School strives to nurture the whole individual in a faith-filled Catholic environment.  http://www.smcschool.org.

 

This unique and special relationship between the two schools is much more than financial. St. Rita Catholic School is a support center and resource that the SMC students, teachers, and parents can rely on to come into action in any capacity as needed. We facilitate a food, coat, and supply drive, and have all the resources collected, sorted, and delivered.

How can I help?

Through the efforts of volunteers, SRCS is involved in the following programs that support SMC.

  • Fall Jamaica to Go & Raffle
  • Adopt a Family
  • Teacher Appreciation Week 
  • Trivia Night 
  • Mock Interviews

 

With all these collaborations and unique programs, we hope to instill a sense of humility, love, and compassion in the SRCS students, teachers, and families.  Each mention and example of love, giving, and stewardship will be something we all hope to expand on and continue throughout our lives.
