Lien Tran

Hello Pre-K! 

My name is Lien Tran.  I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in a family of ten siblings.  I have six brothers and four sisters.  My mom and siblings are still in Baton Rouge. Therefore, I travel to visit them as often as I can.  I’m blessed to grow up in such a huge and loving family. My extended family is now with the St. Rita school community.      

My daughter, Evelyn graduated from St. Rita in May 2023 and is attending Bishop Lynch. She is now a junior and is loving Bishop Lynch and her Brigade team.     

I graduated from LSU and have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught for 25 years in the Catholic school district: Seven years in Kindergarten, 14 years here at St. Rita in 2nd grade, and two years as a support teacher in 1st and 2nd grade. I love working with students and have enjoyed all my experiences. I'm excited to help with the little ones in Pre-K again this year as an instructional aide. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year.
