Lien Tran

Hello Pre-K! 

2024-2025

My name is Lien Tran.  I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in a family of ten siblings.  I have six brothers and four sisters.  Most of my siblings and my mom are still living in Baton Rouge. Therefore, I travel to visit them as often as I can.  I’m blessed to grow up in such a big and loving family. My extended family is now with the St. Rita school community.      

My daughter, Evelyn graduated from St. Rita in May 2023 and is attending Bishop Lynch. She is now a sophomore and loving Bishop Lynch and her Brigade team.     

I graduated from LSU and have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught for 23 years in the Catholic school district: Seven years in Kindergarten at another Catholic school, 14 years here at St. Rita in 2nd grade, and two years as a support teacher in 1st and 2nd grade. Last year, I went back into the classroom to teach 2nd grade.  I love working with students and have enjoyed all my experiences. This year, I'm excited to help with the little ones in Pre-K as a teacher aide. I'm looking forward to this wonderful opportunity.
