I am excited to be teaching 6th-grade Advanced ELAR this year! I’ve been a teacher at SRS for thirteen years, and I love helping middle school students grow in confidence as readers, writers, and thinkers.

At home, I stay busy with my three children. Two of them are at St. Rita—William is in 6th grade and Katherine is in 5th—while my oldest, Elizabeth, just started high school. Watching my own children learn and grow reminds me daily of the importance of encouraging curiosity and kindness in the classroom.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my kids at their activities, and being part of the St. Rita community. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year together!
