Bio
Welcome!
I am very excited to be your teacher and to serve at St. Rita again this year.
After a ten-year career in the banking industry, I followed my heart and became a teacher. I have been blessed to teach for over nineteen years. I spent 9 years teaching third grade in McKinney ISD where I had the opportunity to serve as a team leader and offer an inclusive classroom setting co-teaching with our special education lead. We never stop learning and growing, but I gained so much from this experience. I have also learned so much from my students and colleagues at St. Rita while teaching self-contained 4th-grade classes and departmentalized Language Arts. I have truly loved my teaching journey and am excited to continue this journey in third grade.
My family means the world to me. We reside near St. Rita Catholic School and have called St. Rita our church home since 2010. My husband Jon and I have one son who is a graduate of Jesuit (2018) and a very goofy golden retriever named Auggie. I am blessed that our families reside in the area.
I can't wait to learn more about you this year!
