
In this project - Students created their own masterpiece using Desmos software and all Algebra I functions/and their transformations, which they have learned throughout the year. (Real Life Practice!)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Math. You are in for an exciting year. I promise in my classes to work hard to make sure you have the best mathematical experience while having fun at the same time! I am passionate about the teaching profession, willing to add value and make a difference to a student’s learning. I found my happiness in students’ understanding!
Mrs. Salsa was born and raised in Kuwait; however, her family is from Bethlehem, Palestine which gave her a chance to visit Bethlehem regularly. She received her Bachelor of Mathematics and computer science from the University of Jordan. Mrs. Salsa has taught math for more than 25 years in 5 different countries; Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Canada and The United States.
Before she moved to Texas summer of 2016 with her husband George and their 3 Kids (Issa, Cathren & Merna), she taught math for 10 years at St. John Brebeuf Catholic high school-Abbotsford, BC with the Diocese of Vancouver (CISVA) – Canada.
I am grateful and thankful, my family is growing, within the last 6 years I was blessed with two wonderful sons-in-law, a beautiful granddaughter, and can't wait to meet the new addition to our family/our grandson soon. Thanks be to God.
This is my 9th year at St. Rita, I am proud and is truly blessed to be part of such a great community, look forward to another great year!!!
