Terie Farren

I am so excited for the school year to begin! This year, I will have the opportunity to work with Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students.  My undergraduate degree is in Education and I am certified to teach all subjects Early Childhood - 8th, Special Education, and Physical Education. I have a Master's degree in Education from Southern Methodist University. I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist and a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I am trained in multiple dyslexia curricula, including Scottish Rite Take Flight, Alphabetic Phonics, MTA, Shelton SEE, and Scottish Rite Build.

 

My passion is working with students with dyslexia and other language based learning differences. I love helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, and develop the skills they need to become successful, independent learners.
