Biography

Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

I am blessed to be the 1st and 2nd grade instructional specialist this year.  I will be partnering with the teachers assisting with instructional planning, classroom assessment, and the implementation of small group differentiated instruction to meet the learning needs of all students.  My goal is to challenge students to reach their full potential in a nurturing and loving environment.  Parents are an integral part of the educational process, so please join me in encouraging and praising your child to grow and thrive spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. 

I grew up in Michigan and am a graduate of Michigan State University.  After graduation, I attended a Catholic university, Marygrove, earning a master’s degree in Education.  For the last 16 years, I have been a classroom teacher.  My husband RJ and I have two wonderful girls.  Our oldest, Blair, is in seventh grade and Brooke is in fifth grade.  We love being part of the St. Rita family and I am thrilled to remain a Spartan!
