I am so excited to be part of the Saint Rita family!

Prior to teaching at Saint Rita, I previously taught junior high Religion at Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School for nine years and junior high Social Studies for four years, I was also the Religious Education Coordinator.

My true passion is teaching our faith to young adults and look forward to the opportunity to focus solely on teaching Religion. I am creative and work tirelessly to make Religion fun and exciting for my students. Religious retreats are an integral part of my teaching philosophy.  I have coordinated many religious retreats for my students including retreats for: Advent, Lent, Virtues, Service, Rosary, Mary and All Saints.

I have been married for twenty-five years and have two sons.  My older son is at the University of North Texas studying classical piano and my youngest son is a sophomore at Jesuit. We have been parishioners at Saint Patrick Catholic Church for twenty-three years and have been very involved in the Catholic community throughout our lives.

In my spare time, I enjoy bird-watching, cycling, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am excited to call Saint Rita my new home and look forward to connecting with families and the community.
