Amy Alvizo

Hello, my name is Amy Alvizo, this will be my fifth year as a member of the Saint Rita Community. Prior to becoming a member of the St. Rita family, I was the Religious Education Coordinator and middle-school Religion teacher at Saint Bernard of Clairvaux for ten years.

I have two wonderful boys, Atticus and Adrian. We also have a beautiful golden retriever, Kelsey. Being a cradle Catholic, it was important for me to give the gift of a Catholic education to my boys.

I am creative and work hard to make Religion fun and exciting for my students. I am certified by the Diocese of Dallas for middle-school Religion.

I have been married to my wonderful husband Rick for 29 years. I am an avid birdwatcher and nature lover. I enjoy cycling, traveling to America’s National Parks and spending time with family.
