Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Regina Wash and I am honored to be teaching Kindergarten here at St. Rita. My classroom is a safe place for students to be themselves, learn about God’s love, and strive to become the best learners they can be. I empower my students to build up their mental toolbox in order to face challenges with perseverance and a growth mindset. I firmly believe in educating the whole child in body, mind, and spirit.
Kindergarten is FUN! We play, explore, and learn using hands-on experiences that bring lessons to life. I have been teaching for seven years and have taught both PreK and Kindergarten. The past two years, I have gotten to know the St. Rita community working as a kindergarten aide and coach of the champion 8th grade varsity volleyball team. I love this Kinder program and am excited to be a part of such a strong staff. Fun fact about me, my husband Derek and I recently moved into a house directly across the street, so you might see me walking to school in the morning.
As we head back to school, I know there will be challenges and new circumstances to navigate, but I have full confidence that our community will come together to make this school year a success!
WE ARE ST. RITA!
