Elaine Gramling

Hi! My name is Elaine Gramling.  I grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, but have called Dallas "home" since the mid-90's.  I made my way here by attending the University of Dallas where I obtained a BA in Spanish.

 

While this is my first year to be a part of the St. Rita staff, I am by no means new to the community.  My husband, Tim, and I have been parishioners since the early 2000's.  Four of our five children graduated from St. Rita and our youngest is currently in the 7th grade. Our son, Paul, graduated from Jesuit in 2018, took a gap year to Peru and is now a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.  Our daughter, Mary, graduated from Ursuline in 2020 and is now a freshman at Saint Louis University.  Elizabeth and Margaret are both at Ursuline, a senior and a sophomore, respectively.  In May, we added a puppy to the mix and he is keeping all of us busy. :)

 

Prior to joining the staff at St. Rita, I had spent the last six years at Saint Michael Episcopal School. During my time there, I had many different roles, including my latest, as a PreK 3 teacher for the last three years.

 

I'm very excited to be a part of this wonderful St. Rita Community in my new role as the receptionist.  I look forward to seeing new and familiar faces!
