Biography

I am thrilled to begin my 3rd year as Mrs. Wash’s aide in Kindergarten. I am a born and raised Dallas Catholic girl—a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas, Ursuline Academy, and the University of Texas at Austin.

My husband Walter and I have been married for 34 years and live two minutes from St. Rita in the same house where we raised our three girls. They all attended St. Rita, and coincidentally, each one was a kindergartener in the same classroom where I am blessed to spend every day with Mrs. Wash and our kiddos! We also have three adorable granddaughters.The oldest, Emma, is a 5th grade Spartan and loves St. Rita. Charlotte will be entering SRS PreK this year! And Sophie is a spunky little 2 year old.

Upon graduating UT, I spent many years in sales and marketing, until I decided to stay at home with our three busy girls. Over the years, I have enjoyed being a substitute teacher many years. I have enjoyed substituting at every level at St. Rita, but my heart is with the young ones. When the Kinder opportunity opened up in 2020, it was an easy decision for me. I am beyond grateful to be working with Mrs. Wash and the entire Kindergarten team! Looking forward to a fantastic 2022/23 school year!
